About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer in our beautiful Sunshine Coast office. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth. You will report directly into the Director and have the backing of a team of over 260 experts nationally. You will be tasked with leading a project delivery team in a bid to achieve client commitments and build client advocacy and confidence. Specifically: • Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, co-ordination of designs and contract administration • Negotiation with stakeholders (clients, Authorities, other consultants etc) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projects • Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships • Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables • Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth • Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement • Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff • Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc • Proven experience planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project delivery • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills • Experience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management • High level industry awareness and engagement • Relevant tertiary qualifications • REPQ certification desirable At Colliers, we are enterprising.
