Advertising Effectiveness Lead
Job Description
We’re looking for a measurement leader to show brands the impact of advertising on our app. You’ll build a clear, credible approach to measuring campaign performance across our inventory, turn results into useful recommendations, and help our commercial team demonstrate the value of partnering with us.
You’ll work across Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Data and external research partners. The role combines hands-on campaign analysis with building the measurement products and processes that can scale as the business grows.
What you’ll do
• Define the measurement strategy for brand campaigns across our app and any associated channels.
• Establish practical measurement frameworks for reach, frequency, engagement, brand lift and other relevant outcomes.
• Lead campaign studies, including survey-based brand lift, conversion measurement and advertiser-specific research where appropriate.
• Translate campaign and audience data into clear reporting, case studies and recommendations for brands.
• Build repeatable measurement packages that the sales team can explain and sell.
• Partner with Ad Operations and Product to improve campaign tagging, data quality, reporting and measurement readiness.
• Work with Data and Analytics teams to develop dashboards and reliable ways to assess campaign performance.
• Manage relationships with research vendors, measurement platforms and other external partners.
• Set standards for study design, methodology, privacy and responsible use of data.
• Train and support commercial teams so they can confidently discuss measurement with clients.
• Track market developments and bring forward new approaches that improve the value of our advertising offer.
What you’ll bring
• Experience in advertising measurement, media research, marketing science, analytics or a related field.
• A track record of measuring campaigns for publishers, platforms, agencies or brands.
• Familiarity with brand lift studies, survey research, attribution and campaign effectiveness methods.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience turning measurement into commercial tools, client recommendations or sales enablement.
• Confidence working across Sales, Product, Data and Operations teams.
• Good judgement around research quality, privacy and the limits of what campaign data can show.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presenting results to senior clients.
What success looks like
• Brands understand what our campaigns delivered and what they learned.
• Measurement is included in more proposals and is straightforward to activate.
• Campaign reporting is timely, consistent and trusted by clients.
• Insights lead to useful recommendations, repeat investment and stronger case studies.
• Our measurement offer grows without compromising research quality or user privacy.
