About the role
Join Axon and be a Force for Good.
At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your impact
Axon is looking for a Technical Program Manager in Singapore to lead delivery of a pioneering robotics program in partnership with a national government organization.
Over an initial two-year program, you'll take three working robotics prototypes from concept through testing and iteration. You'll be the primary delivery interface between the government organization, our engineering and product teams in the US, technology partners and operational stakeholders.
What you'll do
• Own the end-to-end delivery plan: scope, milestones, budget, risks, dependencies and change control.
• Run program governance, from working groups and technical design reviews to executive steering committees.
• Build trusted relationships with the organization sponsors and other government stakeholders, and lead customer-facing meetings with clear, outcome-focused reporting.
• Work with engineering, product, cybersecurity and field teams to turn customer needs into executable plans, and coordinate system integration, testing and acceptance.
• Manage vendors, integrators and technology partners across the delivery ecosystem.
• Identify regulatory, security, data protection and safety obligations early, and keep compliance evidence and approvals in order.
• Deliver a controlled handover to operational support, with documentation, training and acceptance evidence complete.
What you'll bring
• Experience working with Singapore government agencies or public-sector customers, and a working understanding of how formal approval routes and procurement governance operate.
• Proven experience managing complex technology, systems integration, engineering or robotics programs. We're looking for large, multi-workstream delivery involving hardware, software, integration, testing and deployment, not simple device rollouts.
• A background in tech, ideally with US technology companies, and the technical fluency to engage confidently with engineers and challenge delivery assumptions.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and partners.
• Strong written and spoken English for day-to-day work with our US team and Singapore government stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or a related technical discipline.
Nice to have
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum certification.
• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, public-safety, defence or critical-infrastructure programs.
• Familiarity with Singapore's PDPA, cybersecurity and safety requirements for technology deployments.
• Experience with government tender delivery or public-sector project assurance in Singapore.
• Proficiency with planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or Azure DevOps.
Don’t meet every single requirement? That's ok. At Axon, we Aim Far. We think big with a long-term view because we want to reinvent the world to be a safer, better place. We are also committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve.
