About the role
About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
The Warehouse Specialist runs day-to-day warehouse operations at a Nebius data center site. The role receives, stores and issues high-value hardware (GPU racks, servers, network equipment, spare parts), keeps stock and asset records accurate, and provides equipment to data center engineers on time.
The specialist is the site's hands-on link to the wider logistics function: Transportation and Transport Coordination for arrivals and pickups, Logistics Planning and 3PL Planning for schedules, Back Office for system records, and the Project Office for new processes and tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Receiving & Dispatch
• Receive inbound shipments per the delivery schedule; check seals, packaging and contents against ASN, packing list and PO.
• Record damage and discrepancies with photos on arrival and hand them to Transport Coordination for insurance cases.
• Prepare outbound shipments and RMA returns: picking, packing, labelling, documents; hand over to carriers at the agreed pickup time.
• Follow handling standards for heavy, fragile and high-value equipment.
2. Provisioning to Data Center Operations
• Issue equipment and spare parts to DC engineers on time, according to requests and project priorities.
• Stage and kit hardware for rack deployments as agreed with ITDC and Project Managers.
• Keep a clear view of what is available on site and flag shortages to the Team Lead and Logistics Planning.
3. Inventory & Asset Control
• Post receipts, issues and transfers in ERP/WMS on the same day as the physical movement.
• Create inventory and asset records for received equipment, including serial numbers.
• Carry out cycle counts and annual stock takes; investigate and report discrepancies to Back Office.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, labelled and organised by location.
4. Security, Safety & Compliance
• Follow site security procedures for deliveries, access control and storage of high-value items.
• Apply safety rules for handling equipment and operating material handling equipment.
• Keep records complete and audit-ready (SOX, internal and external audits).
5. Process & Continuous Improvement
• Work according to global SOPs and site-specific instructions.
• Suggest improvements and report recurring issues to the Team Lead and the Project Office.
• Take part in pilots and rollouts of new processes and tools (WMS/TMS, automations) at the site.
6. Local Expertise
• Provide site-specific knowledge (access rules, dock limits, local carriers and customs specifics) to Transport, Planning and 3PL teams.
• Identify local operational risks and propose practical mitigation.
7. Add-on Roles (when assigned)
• + RMA: own RMA flows at the site — intake, documentation, return shipment, status tracking.
• + Key User (IRG / NetSuite / Project44): first-line support and training for colleagues on the system, test changes, collect feedback for the Project Office.
We expect you to have:
• Autonomy: Independently runs daily warehouse tasks at the site within SOP
