- H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
At Second Nature, our people are our greatest differentiator. To build an industry-changing business, we don’t just need talent; we need an environment where high standards, continuous improvement, and customer obsession are the default.
Excellence is not a destination — it is how we show up every day. In twenty years time, we want every single employee to look back to their time at Second Nature and say: This is where I did my very best work. Where I grew the most. Where I pushed myself beyond what was comfortable. ✨
💟 ABOUT US
Everything else in life has gotten convenient. You can get a ride, buy anything, or answer any question in a few taps. Renting hasn't caught up. Setting up utilities, buying renters insurance, changing air filters, scheduling pest control: all still a chore.
Second Nature built the world's first Resident Experience Platform to fix that, making resident onboarding, resident services, and ancillary revenue effortless for property managers. Join 200+ people turning that friction into wins for residents, property managers, and investors, creating the ultimate Triple Win! 🔥🔥🔥
📝 ABOUT THE ROLE
RESIDENT ONBOARDING IS WHERE EVERY RESIDENT RELATIONSHIP WITH SECOND NATURE BEGINS, AND THE ONRAMP TO OUR MARKET-LEADING RESIDENT BENEFITS PACKAGE. FEW PARTS OF THE COMPANY HAVE A MORE DIRECT EFFECT ON REVENUE.
This role owns Resident Onboarding Lift, the onboarding product we built jointly with AppFolio and deliver exclusively to AppFolio property managers. Our partnership with AppFolio is one of the most important relationships at Second Nature, and converting partnership bookings into enrolled, revenue-generating clients is one of our top company priorities. You will own the product side of that work.
Our AppFolio joint product is the whole job here, not one segment of it. You will come to know their platform, their roadmap, and their property managers as well as you know our own, and you will spend as much time with mutual AppFolio-Second Nature customers as you do with our engineering team. You will drive our joint roadmap in partnership with your peers at Appfolio, as well as Appfolio and Second Nature senior leadership.
This is an individual contributor role with real ownership. You will not have direct reports. Your influence comes from the quality of your thinking, the trust you build with engineering, go-to-market and the Appfolio team, and your willingness to be the most credible advocate for Resident Onboarding in every room, including the ones where you are the only product person present.
THINGS YOU'LL OWN
- The outcome. Own the Resident Onboarding Lift roadmap and the numbers it moves: AppFolio door enablement, enrollment rate, and resident adoption. You set the targets, you report progress to leadership, and you own the result.
- AppFolio fluency. Become the person at Second Nature who best understands how resident onboarding actually works inside AppFolio: lease templates, signing order, counter-signing, how their property managers really run a move-in. Contribute to the joint roadmap with AppFolio's product team so that what we build fits the way their customers operate. You will also own, drive, and execute weekly AppFolio joint partner calls and deliver on timebound commitments.
- Execution. Write requirements that are clear, complete, and fast to build against. Align engineering, marketing, and support so launches land with customers instead of just shipping.
- The craft. You won't manage anyone, but you will set the standard. Model the discovery-through-iteration practices the rest of the product org learns from.
Key Outcomes for the first 12 Months
- Own and execute the product roadmap: Develop and maintain a prioritized Resident Onboarding Lift roadmap align
