US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Personal statement
Chris had a unique ability to make others feel valued, supported, and included. He believed that the stories, experiences, and perspectives we each bring to the table enrich our profession and strengthen our communities.
For that reason, your personal statement is a critical part of the application. More than an academic exercise, it is an opportunity to share who you are, what has shaped your journey, and the impact you hope to have in your legal career. The strongest statements will not simply describe accomplishments but will offer an authentic reflection of the person behind them, capturing the curiosity, compassion, and commitment to others that defined his legacy. (max 500 words)
Your experience
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2029. Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, and German language skills are highly valued as is a strong international interest.
