About the role
In this role, you will be part of a team that builds and runs the digital platforms for healthcare organizations. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering, QA, cloud and data teams. You will turn loosely defined business needs into clear, prioritized and estimated work, keep delivery visible to leadership every week, and make sure what we ship is validated by the business before it reaches production. This is a hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable running a stakeholder working session as they are writing acceptance criteria or chasing an open action item to closure.
Key responsibilities
Requirements and solution analysis
• Run discovery and working sessions with business owners to capture requirements for new applications and enhancements, and document them as epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define MVP scope with stakeholders, separating what must ship first from later phases, and keep scope changes visible.
• Work with UX and engineering to review wireframes and prototypes, and turn stakeholder feedback into concrete design changes.
• Analyse data and reporting needs: map data sources across CRM, data warehouse and application databases, write data specifications, and validate that portal and report data match existing business reports.
• Define role-based access models aligned to real job functions, and gather business justification for privileged access during access reviews.
• Identify privacy and compliance considerations early, including what protected health information each user type may see.
Delivery coordination and governance
• Facilitate weekly internal and stakeholder sync meetings, and publish clear notes with key takeaways, decisions and action items with owners, status and dates.
• Maintain the product backlog with clearly named, individually tracked items, T-shirt sizing and remaining effort, so business owners can prioritize competing work.
• Prepare weekly status reports and leadership decks covering completed work, in-progress items, delivery dates, risks and dependencies, and next priorities.
• Coordinate release planning across development, QA, UAT and production, distinguishing development completion from UAT and go-live dates.
• Communicate timeline changes, risks and options to business leadership with a clear rationale and recommendation.
• Help the team adopt and improve a structured Agile delivery process, including sprint planning, estimation and capacity visibility.
UAT, release and operational readiness
• Plan and run UAT: schedule business validators in advance, hand off builds, track feedback and secure sign-off before production release.
• Confirm post-release validation with business, marketing and analytics owners, including third-party integrations.
• Maintain operational documents such as handoff guides, support coverage models, escalation contacts and alert response procedures.
• Coordinate root cause analysis for production incidents with the responsible teams and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare knowledge-transfer briefs and onboarding material when new systems, integrations or team members come in.
Required qualifications
• 5+ years of business analysis experience on software delivery projects, including several end-to-end releases from discovery to production.
• Proven ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and data specifications.
• Experience with web applications, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and data or reporting projects (SQL familiarity and Power BI or similar).
• Hands-on use of Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence, including backlog management and estimation suppor
