BestDrive Service Technician

Up to $4,500 Sign-On Bonus Available! The Tire Service Technician position is essential to our business. This person must be able to properly dismount, mount, balance, and repair Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck tires. Employees will be responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repair for off-the-road equipment (construction, earthmoving, mining, farm etc.) as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - • Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, repairs, and replacements. • Service commercial truck, fleet, and passenger vehicle tires. • Respond to roadside service calls and customer emergencies. • Conduct inspections and identify tire-related maintenance needs. • Operate service vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently. • Deliver exceptional customer service at customer locations and service facilities. • Follow company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards. • Support training and development as you advance within the technician career path Career Growth at BestDrive BestDrive is committed to developing technicians through a structured career progression program: • Service Technician I - Entry-level technician learning commercial tire service fundamentals. • Service Technician II - Developing technician performing work independently. • Service Technician III - Advanced technician supporting fleet and roadside service. • Service Technician IV - Senior technician with advanced technical expertise and mentorship responsibilities. • Valid driver's license required. • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. • Tire, automotive, diesel, fleet, or related service experience preferred. • Strong commitment to safety and customer service. • Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work. ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1-2 years of tire service technician experience • CDL License a plus • TIA certification Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Work hours are generally 7-5 Monday – Friday.  Saturday and evenings as needed; may have little to no advance notice. • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be followed. • This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk.  • Required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.). Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.  • Required to lift 75-100 lbs. routinely; may be required to occasionally lift up to 150 lbs. individually.
