About the role

About the Role Help customers put AI to work. Our technical customer-facing teams connect business goals with practical solutions, helping organizations evaluate, build, deploy, and adopt OpenAI technology. We welcome technical pre-sales and post-sales professionals, whatever your current title or team. If your work combines technical expertise with helping customers evaluate, implement, or adopt technology, we would like to hear from you. You do not need to decide which role is the right fit before applying. In this role, you will: Depending on the opportunity and your strengths, your work may include: - Work with customers to understand their goals, identify useful AI applications, and define measurable outcomes. - Design technical approaches across architecture, integrations, data, security, governance, and evaluation. - Build demonstrations, prototypes, or production solutions, and helping customers navigate technical trade-offs. - Support deployment and adoption through technical guidance, workshops, enablement, and delivery coordination. - Partner with Sales, Product, Research, Engineering, and other customer-facing teams to resolve challenges and turn customer feedback into better products and practices. You might thrive in this role if you: - Have helped customers evaluate, implement, or adopt complex technology and can connect technical work to business outcomes. - Bring a strong technical foundation in areas such as software, APIs, cloud infrastructure, data, or AI systems. - Can explain technical concepts clearly, build trust with different audiences, and work through ambiguous problems. - Learn quickly, collaborate across disciplines, and care about the safe and effective use of AI. We value different kinds of technical depth. Engineering-focused opportunities may call for substantial hands-on coding, integration, debugging, and production delivery. Other opportunities emphasize architecture, technical strategy, customer enablement, or delivery leadership. You do not need to cover every area listed here. How the Talent Pool Works Tell us about your technical strengths, customer-facing work, and the kinds of problems you enjoy solving. Our recruiting team reviews this pool to identify potential matches across relevant teams and may contact you to explore a suitable opportunity.
