H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Accountant to own core parts of our month-end and year-end close. You'll report to the Assistant Controller and join a focused team supporting two US manufacturing labs, a set of international entities and rising transaction volume. We are looking for a self-starter with an operational mindset who can navigate complex accounting transactions, and find solutions to new accounting scenarios as they arise. Dandy runs on physical operations: labs, materials, equipment, shipping and people across several countries. Each of these flows into the general ledger. We want an accountant who understands how operations show up in the books and works with upstream teams to get the data right the first time. Your main areas: prepaid and accrued expenses, operating expense coding, intercompany and consolidation, general ledger maintenance and close procedures. You'll partner with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A to find process gaps and close them. What you'll do • Own prepaid, accrued expense and opex schedules, including professional fees, software and contractor spend. • Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly, quarterly and annual close, with clear support for estimates, allocations and accruals. • Book intercompany entries and support consolidation across our US and international entities. Work with Tax on quarterly transfer pricing entries. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close. • Prepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to the Assistant Controller and FP&A. • Trace coding errors back to source systems such as payroll, purchasing and billing, and work with system owners to fix them upstream. • Document processes, accounting policies and controls to support our annual audit. • Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests. • Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems. What We're Looking for • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. • 3+ years as a Senior Accountant, or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. • Experience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations. • Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls. • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets. • A track record of fixing root causes in upstream processes. • Clear, concise communication with accountants and non-accountants. • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through on tight deadlines. • Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions. Bonus points • Inventory, cost or manufacturing accounting experience. • Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting. • NetSuite experience. • Public accounting or audit experience. • CPA or CPA candidate. • Experience with BI tools such as Looker. Req ID: J-1300 For full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate. Our local benefits packages typically include healthcare, dental, mental health support, parental planning resources, retirement savings options, and generous paid time off—ensuring our team members ar
