The position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program. Roles and Responsibilities : The selected candidate will work within the Design Assurance team as a Hardware Quality subject matter expert and stakeholder. You will be responsible for checking design packages for proper content and to ensure compliance to applicable company, customer, and industry modeling standards. Other typical duties include: • Analyzing and validating electromechanical hardware models, systems, and other related documents (e.g., GD&T, materials, form/fit/function, manufacturability, feasibility, and economy of fabrication). • Reviewing subcontractor design work against Supplier SOW and program requirements and providing recommendations for approval. • Recommending changes/revisions to product definition packages necessary for approval and buy-off during multiphase design review meetings as a Mission Assurance / Design Assurance representative. • Maintaining a Quality Management System ensuring that products and services conform to company standards of excellence (e.g., AS9100, Statement of Work). • Reviewing practices, procedures, and processes aiming to standardize and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness to reduce risk to product quality. • Preparing / presenting reports, briefings, and metrics of internal and program-wide insights / recommendations to internal / external customers. • Participating in engineering boards as a Mission Assurance / Design Assurance representative. • Performing other Mission Assurance related tasks and objectives (e.g., program improvement efforts, collaborations, planning). Basic Qualifications: • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
