About the role
About the role
Our Growth team finds, engages, and onboards the engineers, finance professionals, scientists, and other domain specialists whose judgment teaches AI systems how to reason in their field. We're looking for a Growth Program Manager to own the programs that make that happen.
This role is strategy and execution. You'll decide what to build and why, then build it. You'll take new initiatives from early and messy to scaled and repeatable, then move on to the next highest-impact problem. The programs you'll own are still being built, and you'll run them at a volume that surfaces problems nobody has seen yet. You'll use AI and automation to keep them from breaking as they scale.
We're looking for real ownership. You treat the program as your own, hold yourself accountable for the results, and don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.
What you'll do
• Set the strategy for your programs: define goals, identify the biggest levers, and decide where to invest
• Own execution end to end and be accountable for outcomes like pipeline, conversion, time-to-productive, and retention
• Build and lead the teams that run your programs, including hiring leads who own their areas and setting clear expectations and performance standards
• Build sustainable expert pipelines through targeted outreach, new channels, and creative approaches
• Build AI workflows and automations that replace manual work in sourcing, outreach, screening, onboarding, and reporting, such as LLM-drafted outreach, lead enrichment, triage agents, QA checks, and self-updating dashboards
• Stand up reporting that shows how each program is performing, where the gaps are, and what to do about them
• Run a steady cadence of experiments on targeting, messaging, channels, process, and tooling, then turn what works into playbooks that people and agents can run
• Partner closely with growth leads, operations, project teams, and vendors to align on priorities and keep work unblocked
• Once a program is in steady state, hand it off cleanly and take on the next one
Who we're looking for
• 4+ years of experience in program operations, growth, recruiting or workforce operations, strategy and operations, or a similar role
• You've owned a program end to end, from setting the strategy to executing it. You were the person accountable when something broke, and the person who fixed it.
• You move comfortably between big-picture thinking and details, and you're as happy building a plan as you are working through a spreadsheet
• Experience building and managing teams, ideally distributed or contractor-based
• Strong judgment about prioritization when there's more work than time, and you know when to escalate and when to resolve on your own
• Data-driven: comfortable defining metrics, digging into funnels, and making decisions from imperfect data. You can run your own analysis in SQL or Python.
• High agency and ownership. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down, and you thrive when given room to build something from nothing.
• You've built things with AI. You use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, Zapier, Make, Retool, or Apps Script as a core part of how you work, and you have at least one workflow, automation, or tool you built that people actually used. We want to hear about what you've built.
• Clear, concise writer and communicator. Much of this job happens over Slack and email, and clarity compounds across hundreds of interactions.
Strong candidates may also have
• Experience scaling a program through rapid growth
• A background in recruiting at scale, talent sourcing, growth marketing, or community building
• Experience in marketplace, gig, or external workforce businesses
