About the role
As a member of our CRM Sales team, you will play a key role in our future success. CRM & Industry Solutions is a rapidly growing focus area for ServiceNow, and you will help drive that growth with support from the business unit and executive team.
ServiceNow is seeking a CRM Senior Account Director who is a customer-facing domain expert and creates innovative business solutions with our customers. You will oversee market success for ServiceNow’s CRM & Industry solutions. These products are built on our industry-aligned, market-leading CRM platform and give departments and agencies a single source of truth, so processes run on consistent information. In the New Zealand public sector, you will work with national agencies and departments to deliver digital services that improve citizen experiences, reduce red tape, and make it easier for government to deliver.
What you will do:
The CRM Senior Account Director builds client relationships while meeting quarterly and annual sales quotas in an assigned territory.
• Develop a sales strategy for your territory, including a target prospect list and regional sales plan
• Work with national agencies and departments to shape and deliver public sector digital services capabilities that improve citizen experiences, reduce red tape, and simplify service delivery
• Arrange and lead initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings, working closely with your Solution Consulting counterpart to deliver “art of the possible” demonstrations of ServiceNow’s CRM solutions
• Manage the sales process through to opportunity close
• Manage ongoing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities
• Support regional ServiceNow partner channels to deliver an effective customer experience
• Use internal tools to manage leads and produce accurate forecasts, territory plans, and goals
• Research prospects and accounts using CRM data, social media, search engines, and AI tools
• Regular travel across New Zealand is expected
How you work:
You are a market maker and business builder. You create demand rather than waiting for it, open doors with senior executives yourself, and are not afraid to pick up the phone. You bring original ideas and a clear point of view to shape the market in your territory. You build the pipeline and the strategy, rather than simply aggregating what others hand you.
To be successful in this role you have:
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI to work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, such as using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, or assessing AI’s impact on your function or industry
• 12+ years in sales, with a record of generating new business for enterprise-class customer experience or other business solutions
• Proven experience selling to public sector customers in New Zealand, including national agencies and departments
• Advanced knowledge of sales force automation, customer service management, enterprise resource planning, or other business application technologies is ideal
• Experience managing short and long complex sales cycles
• Strong understanding of business sales processes
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
