The Mission We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Data Architect to join our Cloud Data Engineering Practice. The Principal Data Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex cloud-based data solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud data and analytics technologies. Your Assignment • Define strategic roadmaps and targeted outcomes for our clients in a consultative capacity • Act as a data engineering SME to define upcoming engagements working with our pre-sales teams • Perform technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates as well as provide technical guidance to Architects and Engineers • Oversee the development and implementation of data standards and operating procedures Requirements • At least 4 years of experience in AWS data landscape • 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems as well as experience in these areas: ○ Traditional Data (At least 2): ■ Relational database design, optimization and migration ■ Data modeling for both transactional and analytics systems including implementation of industry standard data models ■ BI dashboards and visualizations ■ Data Governance and MDM ○ New Data (at least 2): ■ Big data processing using Spark, Streaming solutions, and NoSQL ■ Machine Learning and MLOps with proficiency in Sagemaker ■ GenAI Foundational Models as well as approaches and frameworks used in conjunction with them with proficiency in Bedrock. ■ DataOps practices (Infrastructure as Code, Data Testing, Data Versioning, etc) • Experience with at least two of these: ○ Infrastructure as Code tools ○ CI/CD pipelines and tools ○ Python for analytics (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, etc.) and automation • Strong drive towards standardizing and documenting our approach and solutions ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits Caylent employs full-time, full-benefit CLT in Brazil. • 100% remote work • Generous holidays and flexible PTO • Competitive phantom equity • Paid for exams and certifications • Peer bonus awards • St
