About the role
Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm founded in 1998. Tower has built its business on a high-performance platform and independent trading teams. We have a 25+ year track record of innovation and a reputation for discovering unique market opportunities.
Tower is home to some of the world’s best systematic trading and engineering talent. We empower portfolio managers to build their teams and strategies independently while providing the economies of scale that come from a large, global organization.
Engineers thrive at Tower while developing electronic trading infrastructure at a world class level. Our engineers solve challenging problems in the realms of low-latency programming, FPGA technology, hardware acceleration and machine learning. Our ongoing investment in top engineering talent and technology ensures our platform remains unmatched in terms of functionality, scalability and performance.
At Tower, every employee plays a role in our success. Our Business Support teams are essential to building and maintaining the platform that powers everything we do — combining market access, data, compute, and research infrastructure with risk management, compliance, and a full suite of business services. Our Business Support teams enable our trading and engineering teams to perform at their best.
At Tower, employees will find a stimulating, results-oriented environment where highly intelligent and motivated colleagues inspire each other to reach their greatest potential.
Our Core Engineering department is seeking an AI Enablement Lead.
Responsibilities
• Track model and feature releases across the firm's AI tools, evaluate what matters for Tower, and drive the decisions on what the firm adopts and when
• Partner with InfoSec and Legal & Compliance to move new capabilities through review and into users' hands quickly
• Stay close to the broader AI landscape and translate developments into concrete opportunities for Tower's teams
• Establish how we measure adoption and impact, and use data on how people actually use AI tools to find where the gains are, and where they aren't
• Work closely with trading and research teams to understand how their work gets done, identify where AI would help most, and help them redesign processes from the ground up rather than layering AI onto existing ways of working
• Proactively enabling teams, bringing new capabilities to the teams that would benefit, running the sessions and building the material that raises fluency, and turning what works in one team into something the next can reuse
• Define how AI tools are set up and used at Tower so that configuration, access and experience are consistent across tools and teams, and redundant tooling is retired
• Be the central connector between users, the firm's AI and platform teams, and vendors — surfacing what teams need, influencing vendor roadmaps, and helping colleagues navigate access, policy and procedural questions
Qualifications
• High AI fluency: daily hands-on use of AI assistants, coding agents and agentic workflows; fluent in modern LLM tooling and concepts (prompting, agents, tool use, MCP, workflow design); strong opinions about how engineers and researchers do good work with AI
• Hands-on technical background — programming, automation, data analysis or product/engineering work — with the range to take an idea from discovery through prototype to production-ready, and the judgment to know when to pull in deeper engineering help
• Track record of taking internal tools or platforms from early adopters to broad, firm-wide use
• Sharp product instincts: asks the right questions, gets to root causes, lays out trade-offs clearly, and pushes back when needed
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound judgment around
