US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). About the role
Our Mission
You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked.
We’re here to give power to the patient.
For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more.
Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting . We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking.
Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started.
Your Impact on Our Mission
We think the way businesses approach customer growth needs to be reinvented.
For years, acquisition marketing has been built around channels, campaigns, media plans, and predefined funnels. But providers do not discover, evaluate, and choose products along the paths we create for them. They search, compare, ask peers, respond to changing business needs, and increasingly find answers through new platforms and AI-powered experiences.
We believe the future of acquisition is understanding what providers are trying to accomplish, recognizing where Zocdoc can help, and finding intelligent, creative ways to show up with something useful. That means building an acquisition system that is relevant to the provider, responsive to intent, and accountable to real business outcomes.
As Director, Provider Growth Acquisition, you will have the opportunity to build that system at Zocdoc. You will define how we find the providers we are best positioned to serve, how we earn their attention, how we turn interest into action, and how we learn what creates durable growth. You will also own the performance of that system: balancing ROAS and efficiency with incremental new active providers, MQL quality, and the long-term value of the providers we acquire.
You will report to the VP, Provider Growth and help define what acquisition-led growth can look like at Zocdoc.
Your day-to-day...
• Build the strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Provider Acquisition, translating them into shipped programs and measurable business outcomes.
• Own acquisition performance and investment decisions: deliver MQL volume and quality, improve conversion to active providers, grow incremental new active providers, and meet ROAS or payback expectations while building long-term provider value.
• Establish the performance framework, data, instrumentation, attribution, and reporting that connect investment to MQLs, sign-ups, conversion, incremental lift, provider LTV, and revenue by segment, specialty, geography, account, and program. Use channel reporting and incrementality testing to distinguish true impact from credited activity.
• Define the audiences and markets where Zocdoc is best positioned to win, prioritize provider segments and account tiers, and match investment to opportunity, from scalable reach to 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many ABM.
• Reimagine acquisition as a connected growth system, bringing ABM, paid and organic search, web experiences, CRO, and field events together around shared audiences, messaging, and provider needs.
• Run a fast learning loop through bold experiments across audiences, channels, creative, offers, landing pages, journeys, events, partnerships, and emerging tools; scale what works and stop what does not.
• Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Events, Marketing Operations, Data Science, and other growth leaders to align
