No salary bar for this route
H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

WHY HARVEY At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started. ROLE OVERVIEW Harvey is hiring a Video Editor & Shooter to create compelling, finished video for our content and social channels. Editing and social storytelling are the core of this role. You’ll find the story in footage, bring strong editorial recommendations, and own edits from selects through final delivery. You’ll also shoot executive content, interviews, events, and other planned capture. You’ll be one of the first two hires in a dedicated Content & Social (C&S) creative pod, alongside its creative lead. The role sits within the Harvey Creative Studio (HCS) for creative leadership, craft, and brand standards, with the C&S roadmap determining workload and priorities. Broader HCS projects are staffed separately. You’ll work directly with C&S leads from briefing through delivery and with the pod’s creative lead on narrative and editorial direction. The creative lead retains overall narrative responsibility and accountability for the work through delivery. You own the editing craft and delivery of finished assets within that direction. The Work You Will Support The initial planning mix for the pod includes: - Supporting 1–3 recurring series each month, including executive content. - Covering 2–3 events per month and turning captured footage into content for our channels. - Producing product videos with Product Marketing and relevant HCS teams, including an ongoing cadence of feature videos, explainers, use cases, and demonstrations beyond launch. Recurring series generally have longer planning cycles. Event and product launch work often needs a turnaround of one to two weeks. The creative lead and C&S agree the pod’s workload and resourcing upfront, including deliverables, capture, editing time, and reviews. For product launches, this pod owns the content and social assets on its roadmap. Larger campaign and demo productions remain with the relevant HCS teams, with messaging, footage, and delivery handoffs coordinated upfront. WHAT YOU'LL DO Editing and Social Storytelling - Own edits from footage review and selects through finished assets ready for each platform, using footage you capture and material supplied by other teams. - Find the story in interviews, event footage, and product content. Recommend hooks, structure, pacing, and cutdowns that deliver the message and fit the audience and channel. - Finish videos with captions, on-screen text, basic graphics, music, sound design, audio mixing, and color correction. Deliver the required aspect ratios and channel versions
