About the role
The Channel and Ecosystems team is dedicated to accelerating Asana's growth and market reach through partnerships and fostering a thriving partner network. We build and nurture relationships with Channel Partners (VARs, Services Partners, Distributors, Systems Integrators), Technology Partners (ISVs, App Partners) and Strategic Alliances to support Asana customers across geographies through our partners' specialized expertise, consulting and technical capabilities. Our team collaborates closely with internal cross-functional teams to align partner efforts with company objectives and ensure that partners are engaged through comprehensive enablement, program support and resources.
As a Senior Analyst, Channel Strategy & Operations, you will be a core builder and strategic thought partner for our expanding partner business. Reporting to the Head of Channel Strategy & Operations, you will help build the data foundation that makes partner performance visible and trusted, improve operational processes, and lead strategic initiatives that drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue. This is a high-growth role. You'll have real ownership early, direct exposure to Channel, Sales, and Revenue Strategy leaders, and a path to broader scope as the partner business scales. You'll work independently and be expected to turn analysis into decisions and recommendations.
This role is based in our Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you’ll achieve

• Commercial Modeling & Business Sizing: Build quantitative business cases, sizing models, and scenario analyses (such as partner discount and margin modeling) that guide strategic investment and policy decisions.
• Data Infrastructure & Measurement: Build and maintain scalable datasets, pipelines, and dashboards in Databricks and Salesforce to measure partner contribution across the entire go-to-market lifecycle for Finance, Revenue Strategy, and Channel leadership.
• Operational Excellence & Root-Cause Resolution: Investigate partner attribution gaps, quoting and billing errors, and policy edge cases to fix upstream process bottlenecks and establish durable playbooks.
• AI Workflow Innovation: Leverage AI daily to accelerate research, data modeling, and process documentation, while prototyping and piloting AI-driven workflows that automate routine operational triage and hygiene checks.
• Cross-Functional Enablement: Partner with GTM Systems, Business Process, and Enterprise Technology teams to author requirements, conduct testing, and support rollout of CRM/PRM enhancements.
