About the role
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
About the team
The CPBU Security organization builds the security capabilities of Purity, the software that powers FlashArray and FlashBlade. Customers use these features directly, and they underpin the products’ industry certifications.
The Service IAM team owns service-to-service identity and authorization. Our work covers OAuth and token exchange, container authorization, API clients, and the IAM middleware that sits in front of the products’ APIs.
How we work
We spend about 80% of our time designing and implementing product features. The other 20% goes to upholding our security posture through threat models, security reviews and similar activities.
Because security spans multiple layers of the software stack, our engineers write code in several languages (C++, Java, Python and Go), depending on the feature they’re building.
We work closely with colleagues in Prague and the US.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a technical lead to drive architecture and execution across projects that span multiple teams. You take ownership, and you build alignment with stakeholders on open-ended problems through data-driven decisions and earned credibility. You also coach senior and junior engineers, raise the technical bar, and guide career growth on the technical track.
This is a software engineering role in security, and you don’t need prior security experience. Security is the domain you’ll learn on the job while building features. We support you with structured onboarding, thorough documentation, AI tools that help you find context quickly, and colleagues who are glad to bring you up to speed.
Why join
Our team’s goals directly support company priorities, so your work has a visible impact. Security is a market differentiator for our products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Design and implement creative new algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems (think six 9’s)
• Own and deliver FlashArray and FlashBlade product security features end-to-end, from concept to shipped product
• Analyze and solve challenging problems through persistence and insight, with an eye toward making FlashArray and FlashBlades more secure
• Work as a team with smart peers who inspire you and who are inspired by you
• Make customers really happy, because that’s why we do what we do
• Learn a ton, whether you know a lot, or nothing about system software
WHAT YOU BRING
• Years of experience using a systems programming language (e.g. C++ or Java etc)
• Natural curiosity with proven design sensibility and willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
• Experience in any number of related systems software projects e.g: Distributed systems, operating systems, Linux Kernel, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.
• Experience with security technologies (encryption, network security, application security, etc.) is a strong plus, but a lack of relevant work experience shouldn’t deter an otherwise qualified candidate from applying
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other ap
