About the role
Product Manager
London, UK | Full-time, 11-month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid
About Product
Our Product team owns the vision, strategy and roadmap for the dunnhumby platform — the data, science and software that powers retailers and brands around the world. We work at the intersection of customer data, AI, and commercial impact, building products that turn insight into measurable growth.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team on a 11-month fixed-term contract, leading the development of data-driven, customer-centric products that help Tesco tailor ranges and planograms to individual stores.
You’ll own the product lifecycle from research and discovery through to delivery and optimisation. Working closely with Tesco and our data science, engineering and analytics teams, you’ll translate user and business needs into scalable products that deliver measurable value.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of your product area, setting a clear direction while ensuring the team remains focused on solving the right customer and business problems.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including research, discovery, delivery, measurement and continuous optimisation.
• Define and execute product strategy, roadmaps and backlog priorities, ensuring the squad has clarity on the problems and opportunities that matter most.
• Partner closely with data science, engineering and analytics teams to deliver scalable solutions, including data science models that are API ready.
• Build a deep understanding of Tesco’s users and stakeholders, translating customer and commercial needs into clear product requirements, user stories and outcomes.
• Establish measures of product success and use data, experimentation and customer feedback to inform decisions and continuously improve the product.
What We're Looking For
You’ll bring strong Product Management experience and be comfortable working across technical, analytical and commercial teams to turn complex requirements into clear product outcomes.
• Proven Product Management experience delivering complex, data-led products across the product lifecycle, including hands-on research and discovery.
• A strong analytical mindset, with experience working with data science, analytics or insights-driven products and an interest in how data can solve customer problems.
• Technical understanding of APIs, ideally with experience delivering products or services that use APIs to make data or models scalable and accessible.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, facilitate discovery and bring different teams together around a shared product vision.
• Experience working in agile product environments, including managing roadmaps, prioritising backlogs and partnering closely with engineering or technical teams.
