You will own how code travels from a developer’s commit to millions of users across Superhuman’s products: Grammarly, Superhuman Docs, and Superhuman Mail. As our product suite grows, so do the number of engineers contributing to it and the number of surfaces we release on (web, desktop, mobile, browser extensions, APIs). Our team makes shipping fast, safe, and boring. The team builds and runs the CI/CD platform, release pipelines, and rollout tooling that let product teams deploy many times a day with confidence; it enables engineers to be productive, use new technologies to optimize the SLDC, and push on green many times a day. You will lead a team of engineers working at the intersection of developer productivity, infrastructure, and reliability. You will partner with Product Engineering, SRE, Platform/Infrastructure, and Security to increase release speed and safety. This role is hands-on: you will help set the technical direction and stay close to the work. As an Engineering Manager, Release Engineering, you will: • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Engineers; hire great people and build a strong, inclusive team culture in Berlin and across a distributed organization. • Own the strategy and roadmap for CI/CD, build, and release systems that scale with company growth and the number of products and surfaces we ship. • Drive faster, safer delivery: improve lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and time to restore, and make these measures visible to engineering leadership. • Build and operate release tooling, including progressive rollouts, canaries, feature flags, automated rollback, and release health monitoring. • Coordinate release trains and launches across all our products, working with Product, QA, Support, and Marketing to ensure major launches land smoothly. • Partner with SRE, Infrastructure, and Security to keep the delivery platform reliable and compliant, including supply chain security, artifact integrity, and access controls. • Reduce friction for product engineers: cut build and test times, eliminate flaky tests and pipelines, and offer self-service paths so teams can ship without waiting on us. • Act as an escalation point and Incident Commander for release-related incidents, and lead blameless postmortems that turn into lasting fixes. • Balance near-term pipeline fixes with foundational investments, and make clear tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment. • Stay hands-on where it matters: review designs, help debug tough pipeline problems, and set a high engineering bar.   Qualifications • Have 5+ years of software, DevOps, or release/build engineering experience, and 2+ years managing engineers (or engineering mana
