US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

Recruiter
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Remote candidates must be based in FL, NV, TN, TX, or UT
About the role:
Do you love the hunt for great talent? Do you want to join a growing team where your work shapes the firm and your career can grow with it?
As our Recruiter, you’ll run full-cycle recruiting for open roles across the firm. You’ll source, screen, and move candidates through a recruiting process that you'll have a hand in continuing to shape. You’ll work in that process every day and help improve it as we learn what works. As the firm scales and the recruiting function matures, you’ll have the chance to take on more responsibility, shape new processes, and grow your career here.
Why you'll love this role:
This is not a big corporate job where you own 5% of the outcome, sit through endless meetings, and wait years for someone to give you more responsibility.
We’re a small, fast-growing firm. That means real ownership and a real opportunity to grow with us.
We work hard. We move fast. We have fun. And we’re building something big.
If you want to become ridiculously good at what you do, take ownership of your work, and help build something you’re proud of…keep reading.
What You'll Do
Fill the roles
• Manage full-cycle recruiting across the firm, including tax preparers, tax managers, accounting, admin, and support roles
• Proactively source and headhunt candidates rather than waiting on inbound applicants
• Manage multiple open positions at the same time
• Build and maintain pipelines for roles we haven’t posted yet
Own the screen
• Write job postings and run candidate interviews using our interview guides and screening criteria
• Decide who advances and who doesn’t, so leadership only meets candidates worth meeting
• Present well-vetted shortlists with clear recommendations
• Hiring decisions rest with leadership. Your job is to make them easy, fast, and well informed.
Keep improving it
• Keep candidates informed and follow up consistently throughout the process
• Track key recruiting metrics, like time to fill, source of hire, pipeline health, and offer acceptance
• Share what you learn and suggest improvements to our processes and tools
• Grow with the function as it scales
What We're Looking For
Must have
• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Proven sourcing and headhunting experience; you don’t rely on inbound applicants
• Experience managing multiple open roles at once in a high-volume environment
• Hands-on experience with sourcing platforms, job boards, and at least one ATS
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
Strongly preferred
• Experience hiring CPAs and/or in the tax industry
• Experience in professional services, such as accounting, finance, or legal
• Experience in a founder-led or fast-growing company
• Experience helping improve or implement recruiting processes and tools
