What will you do? • Manage administration of all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)-related training including materials and schedule • Provide EHS support to the site and provide accurate and where necessary, consistent professional advice that enables them to manage and improve their EHS performance • Work with Operations, ensure workplace risk assessments are sufficient, meets necessary standard and updated. • Reinforce and promote improvements to the site’s safety culture • Conduct office and site inspections. • Support problem-solving, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to rectify issues within agreed timelines • Assist in areas with inspections to get a consistent approach across site, coaching site-based representatives in EHS, increasing their EHS capabilities, and competence to effectively manage the environment • Providing administration support to the team and supporting the Site EHS Lead • Collate data for presentation and escalation at Site EHS Council and EHS Committee What will you learn? You will have opportunities to learn the following: • Understand and manage the EHS Operations including engineering principles, compliance and day to day operational challenges. • Understand risk management principles including identification and mitigation. • Improve your influencing skills. • Understand principles of project management.
