This role offers a rare chance to be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking technology that can disrupt the industry.     This role will lead a team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for the Affera mapping system, providing technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional execution oversight to deliver safe, high-quality, and innovative software solutions that support product performance, regulatory compliance, and business objectives.     The ideal candidate will have deep experience leading software engineering teams in a regulated environment, with strong expertise in software architecture, product development, and team development. They will take ownership of key software capabilities while working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams and are passionate about developing products that will have a positive impact on the lives of millions.     About the Affera Mapping and Ablation System   The Affera Mapping and Ablation System is an innovative medical technology designed to treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The system involves advanced mapping techniques to create detailed images of the heart's electrical activity, helping physicians identify abnormal areas causing arrhythmias. Once identified , the Affera Ablation System delivers targeted energy to disrupt these abnormal signals, restoring normal heart rhythm.       Primary Responsibilities   • Lead software engineering teams responsible for architecture, design, development , sustaining activities for complex medical device software.   • Define technical direction, development priorities, and execution plans in alignment with product and business strategy.   • Support planning and execution of release milestones, risk management, defect resolution, and continuous improvement while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for current and future product releases.   • Define, plan, organize, and coordinate software development deliverables across multiple sites in accordance with FDA and other regulatory requirements.   • Recruit, coach, mentor, retain , and develop high-performing software engineering talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and engineering excellence.   • Lead forecasting, effort estimation, resource planning, technical planning, execution, and release activities.   • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing industry-standard software engineering technologies, methods, and tools.   • Apply software development methodologies, including Agile practices, to improve execution, collaboration,
