Our Oregon campuses — located at Gordon Moore Park (Ronler Acres) and Aloha — are at the heart of Intel's global manufacturing operations, representing decades of engineering excellence and innovation. Intel's Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) team is the backbone of our 24x7 manufacturing and foundry operations, ensuring the seamless automated delivery and storage of materials across our state-of-the-art fabrication facilities. We are looking for a motivated and skilled AMHS Equipment Technician to join our dedicated team of technicians, engineers, and managers in Hillsboro and Aloha, Oregon. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping Intel's manufacturing operations running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our AMHS infrastructure — the "heartbeat and blood flow" of the fab. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor AMHS operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, proactively detecting and responding to system issues to ensure continuous manufacturing flow • Perform timely electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical equipment • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all AMHS equipment and sub-assemblies, including setup and calibration • Log system problems and errors accurately in designated databases, maintaining detailed and precise records • Respond to escalations in partnership with Manufacturing Service Desks, Equipment Engineering teams, and other key stakeholders • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, and technical drawings • Provide project support for AMHS installation and modification projects as required • Collaborate with AMHS hardware engineers and product owners to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges • Serve as a buddy, trainer, and/or certifier for team members, contributing to the development of training materials • Achieve and maintain L3 and advanced equipment certification milestones through established training processes • Uphold Intel's Safety and Quality Culture standards, acting as a role model for work ethics and results • Demonstrate flexibility to rotate across shifts to support staffing and organizational needs As a Successful Candidate, You Will Bring: • Adaptable — You embrace change and thrive in dynamic, evolving environments • Detail-oriented — You take pride in precision and accuracy in everything you do • A team player — You foster collaboration, support your colleagues, and contribute to a positive team culture • A self-starter — You take initiative, anticipate challenges, and proactively seek solutions • Safety-conscious — You lead by example, prioritizing safety and quality in every task • Inclusive — You bring a positive, welcoming attitude to every working group • Resilient — You remain focused and effective under pressure and in the face of shifting priorities • A lifelong learner — You are committed to continuous growth, skill development, and professional advancement • A clear communicator — You can effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences • Accountable — You take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments Are you ready to be part of the team that keeps Intel's manufacturing heartbeat strong?
