About the Team This individual will be a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Leaders of the DoorDash Labs Engineering and Operations teams. About the Role This is a hybrid role that will require some in-office time in either San Francisco, CA or Tempe, AZ. As a member of our team, you'll partner closely with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive meaningful business outcomes through thoughtful collaboration, clear communication, and strong execution. You'll work in a highly collaborative environment with weekly team syncs, regular asynchronous communication via Slack, and flexible working hours that prioritize core collaboration.. We are seeking a strategic and globally minded People Business Partner to support our DoorDash Labs team, which focuses on Autonomous Delivery, serving a client group of ~500 employees across North America. This is a hybrid position based in either San Francisco, CA or Tempe, AZ. This role requires a strong business acumen, HR depth, and a passion for scaling people-centric programs that enable business growth and innovation. You will report into a Director, People Business Partners in our Global People Organization. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… • Partner with senior executives in DoorDash Labs to translate business goals into effective people strategies and org design. • Co lead the strategic workforce planning process across both functions, identifying future capability needs and succession plans. • Drive talent development programs tailored to a globally distributed and hybrid workforce. • Provide counsel on sensitive employee relations, change management, and leadership effectiveness. • Partner with People CoEs (Talent, Total Rewards, L&D, DEI) to roll out enterprise-wide initiatives with local relevance. • Leverage people data to influence decisions, drive accountability, and create action plans for business leaders. • Support M&A integration and change management efforts as the business evolves. • Promote a culture of inclusion, innovation, and resilience through thoughtful coaching and leadership enablement.
