About the role

If so, this is the chance to apply now! 📥 PeopleCert is looking for a Junior Data Analyst will be a dedicated resource for supporting all reporting and analytics needs of LanguageCert government contracts . The role involves working with data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner. As a Junior Data Analyst, your tasks will include the following: • Collect, clean, and prepare data from internal and external sources for reporting and analysis. • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data effectively. • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel and Power BI. • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for government stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery. • Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable deliverables. • Conduct data quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy across all reports. • Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from data, and provide relevant recommendations. • Assist in automating manual reporting tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of reporting tools, frameworks, and best practices. What we look for: • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. • 1+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related role. • Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization). • Experience with Power BI for dashboard and report development. • Familiarity with Python for data analysis and automation is a strong plus. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience with government contracts or regulated reporting environments is an advantage.
