About the role

About the Team New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers beyond restaurant deliveries (e.g., Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail). Our Central Ops team has three major mandates: to effectively onboard merchants, fulfill every order with speed & accuracy and improve our logistics network. We are able to do this by identifying efficiencies, building product tooling and launching operational processes at scale. You will own metrics, pull operational & product levers and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses. About the Role We are looking to build out our team with a Senior Associate who will focus on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives on the New Verticals Central Ops pod. You will lead the scoping, go-to-market, and iteration of cutting-edge product features to help DoorDash improve order quality and selection across our Convenience, Grocery, Alcohol, and Retail businesses. You work will include attracting more Dashers into shopping, building the tools & technology they use in-store, and ensuring the right supply is available in the right place at the right time. Your work will be highly visible, and involves partnering with the Machine Learning, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams. You will create quarterly and annual plans that push our business forward and are aligned with our product capabilities. You will help these teams identify opportunities for enhancing our existing product offering and methods to improve delivery quality. • Lead : You will help lead cross-functional work streams of Engineers, Data Scientists and Designers to develop best in class product features that will enhance the quality of New Vertical deliveries • Own : You love owning problems end-to-end.
