US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

Role Overview The Team Lead, Education Sales leads the Education sales team and owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for the Education segment, covering both University and Student markets. The role is responsible for driving new institution and student customer acquisition, growing ARR within the existing base, and reducing churn across both segments. The University segment operates through direct, relationship-led sales to institutions, while the Student segment runs as a low-touch, digital-first purchase journey, requiring close partnership with the Ecommerce team to optimise the online funnel, conversion rates, and pricing experience. Reporting to the Sr. Director GTM Strategy & Transformation, this role requires a commercially driven sales leader with a hands-on approach, a track record of owning segment revenue end-to-end, and the ability to coach and develop a team while remaining personally active in deals. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and suits someone who wants to build and scale a team rather than maintain one. Required Experience • At least 5 years of sales experience within a SaaS or technology environment, including demonstrated experience leading a sales team with direct accountability for team performance and revenue outcomes. • Proven track reco
