About the role
Datadog’s Recruiting Operations team is on a mission to scale and optimize the Talent Acquisition organization through operational efficiency, best-in-class tooling and programs. We are looking for a Program Manager, Recruiting Operations on a 12-month contract to take ownership of our sourcing tech stack and get significantly more value out of both. This is a delivery-focused engagement with a clear mandate. Our sourcers and recruiters use our CRM as their candidate relationship management system and LinkedIn Recruiter as a major sourcing channel, and we believe we can get more of these platforms. You will become the expert on these two tools, evaluate the sourcing workflows that run through them, drive real adoption of the CRM across the team, and tell us honestly where we are leaving capability on the table. You will also work with the owner of our ATS to make sure data flows cleanly from sourcing into the hiring pipeline. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture — the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: • Serve as the day-to-day administrator and point of contact for the CRM and LinkedIn Recruiter — configuration, user management, seat and license allocation, permissions, and troubleshooting • Run a full feature utilization audit of both platforms: what we have access to, what we actually use, and what we should be using but aren’t • Review, redesign and optimize sourcing workflows end to end — prospect identification, outreach sequencing, pipeline nurture, and handoff into Greenhouse • Drive CRM adoption across sourcers and recruiters through enablement, workflow design that makes the CRM the path of least resistance, and measurement of usage against defined targets • Build and optimize outreach templates, sequences, and nurture campaigns in partnership with the Employer Brand Marketing team, and establish what good looks like based on response and conversion data • Partner with the Greenhouse owner in Recruiting Operations on the CRM–ATS integration, including field mapping, duplicate handling, and validating that prospect and candidate data flows correctly • Establish reporting on sourcing funnel performance, outreach effectiveness, talent pool health, and license utilization, and use it to prioritize your own work • Run user research and feedback sessions with sourcers/recruiters to understand where the tools create friction, and validate solutions before rollout • Develop documentation, playbooks, and training so sourcers can work effectively in both platforms and new hires can ramp quickly • Manage the working relationship with sourcing tool account teams, bringing back roadmap insight and feature recommendations • Stay informed on sourcing technology trends and make recommendations on how Datadog’s sourcing stack should evolve Who You Are: • Hands-on with sourcing tools — a recruiting CRM (Gem strongly preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter — and able to configure and administer them yourself rather than only specifying changes • Deeply familiar with how sourcing actually works day to day, ideally from having sourced yourself, so you can design workflows sourcers will genuinely use • Experienced at driving tool adoption, with concrete examples of moving a team from low to high usage of a platform • Comfortable auditing a platform against its full feature set and making a clear case for what to turn on, what to ignore, and why • Familiar with how a sourcing CRM integrates with an ATS, including field mapping and duplicate management • Analytically savvy — fluent in sourcing funnel metrics, outreach response and conversion rate
