US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

PagerDuty's Brand team is hiring a Designer, Motion & Brand to join our in-house creative team, reporting to the Art Director. This is a generalist role with a strong emphasis on motion design — you'll spend a good chunk of your time animating for social, web, and campaign work, but you'll also flex into static ad design, decks, and other creative requests as they come up. We're looking for someone who leads with AI-first thinking and isn't afraid to push the envelope — bringing fresh, unexpected ideas to everything from ads and video to presentations and event booths. This role is based in the San Francisco area and works from our SF office two days a week. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and animate motion content (social cuts, ads, sizzle reels, animated templates) for brand and campaign initiatives • Design static creative — digital ads, social graphics, presentation templates, event collateral, and other on-brand assets • Partner with the Art Director and creative project manager to scope, prioritize, and deliver work through our monday.com creative request pipeline • Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables, working within existing brand guidelines and design systems • Collaborate cross-functionally with Comms, Marketing, Events and other teams' stakeholders to understand briefs and deliver polished creative on tight timelines • Manage multiple concurrent projects and shift priorities as new requests come in • Bring bold, fresh AI ideas and leverage AI tools like Claude and Gemini to speed up ideation, concepting, and production of ads and video to decks and physical event/booth design — helping the team turn complex ideas into finished creative faster, and using them to explore directions a traditional workflow might not get to BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in-house or agency • Motion design skills (After Effects or similar) — comfortable animating from concept to final export • Video editing expertise — comfortable cutting and assembling footage for social, campaign, executive content, and event content • Strong static design chops: typography, layout, and visual storytelling • Sharp attention to detail and consistency, especially working within brand guidelines • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma • An AI-first mindset — enthusiasm for using tools like Claude, Gemini, or similar not just to speed up production, but to expand what's creatively possible • Ability to work efficiently across a variety of request types — from quick-turn social assets to more involved campaign pieces • Adept at collaborating across diverse teams—from C-suite executives to regional marketing and product groups—adapting engagement styles to translate ambiguous, high-stakes asks into clear, impactful, and on-brand creative • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly • Portfolio demonstrating both motion and static design work required (bonus points
