Your primary responsibility will be to develop engineering solutions that quantitatively enforce our marketplace policies. Rather than building systems from scratch, you will expand upon our established validation frameworks to detect avatar schema compliance, flag geometry-based exploits, and programmatically measure asset quality. In this role, you will serve as a core practical resource for geometric processing, helping our broader engineering and machine learning initiatives build highly precise automated setup tools. You Will: • Scale and Extend Automated Validation: Maintain, optimize, and expand our existing engineering systems to analyze 3D geometry, avatar schema compliance, rigging structures, and asset metadata. • Enforce Marketplace Policy: Develop and refine quantitative, programmatic metrics to evaluate incoming UGC assets against platform quality standards and security rules before they reach hundreds of millions of users. • Geometric Processing Resource: Serve as a practical engineering resource for geometric processing, collaborating closely with machine learning teams to enhance asset quality pipelines. • Cross-Functional Execution: Work across the avatar stack, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and artists to translate complex marketplace policy requirements into clean, scalable code updates. • Optimize Existing Pipelines: Enhance sophisticated data and validation pipelines capable of handling large-scale 3D assets like meshes and textures with high runtime efficiency.
