Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact Seeking a Cloud Automation/Deployment Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, and automation. Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployment platforms, infrastructure automation, observability, and release management for cloud and edge solutions. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Terraform, Python, Linux, and cloud platforms is required. Experience managing large-scale deployments, platform reliability, monitoring, and automation of cloud-native workloads is highly desirable. You will join a team focused on security and software development within Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG), which drives advancements in computing platforms and solutions. This group plays a critical role in ensuring that Intel's products meet the evolving needs of secure, high-performance cloud environments and supports Intel's broader mission of delivering world-class technology solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement security features for cloud stacks using modern software development practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vulnerability assessment, compliance, and technical groups, to gather requirements and address cloud security challenges. - Develop, integrate, and review cloud hosting solutions with a focus on continuous security hardening. - Work with container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker to ensure secure and efficient cloud deployment. - Implement security across applications, integrations, databases, and processes using technologies like SAML, JWT, OAuth, SSL, and mTLS. - Manage and secure Linux operating systems, including CentOS and Ubuntu, for cloud-hosted environments. - Document risks, security controls, and evidence to meet compliance standards, ensuring alignment with frameworks like CIS and Docker Bench Security. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud software development. Alternatively, a Master's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD in a relevant field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in full-stack development with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (or similar Web UI frameworks). - Strong knowledge of container technologies, including Kubernetes and OpenShift, and experience with Docker or Linux containers. - Expertise in cloud hosting and infrastructure security, including application, integration, and database security. - Ability to implement protocols and technologies such as SAML, JWT, OAuth, SSL, and mTLS. - Working knowledge of managing and securing Linux operating systems. Preferred Qualifications - Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). - Familiarity with security frameworks, controls, and processes, including CIS and Docker Bench Security. - Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
