About the role
Job Details: Job Description: Join Intel as a Product Quality and Reliability Engineer, where you'll ensure the quality and reliability of cutting-edge components and systems. In this role, you will drive the development and execution of product qualification strategies, analyze specifications, and optimize production processes to meet quality standards. Your work will be instrumental in supporting manufacturing readiness and enabling the delivery of high-quality products to Intel's global customers. This role is part of the Product Quality Engineering organization, which focuses on ensuring product quality and reliability across Intel's diverse portfolio of innovative technologies. Collaborating across teams, this group contributes to Intel's goal of delivering world-class solutions that empower businesses and consumers worldwide. The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: • Develop and execute product qualification strategies and plans to ensure adherence to release criteria and quality goals. • Perform risk assessments and define quality and reliability objectives while enabling key decisions on product quality. • Contribute to the validation and testing of components, boards, and systems, including manufacturing test process development and implementation. • Support testability circuits, test flows, and methodologies through evaluation, development, and debugging of complex test methods. • Collaborate with process development, fab, factory, assembly, manufacturing groups, and outsource partners to enhance product quality and reliability. • Analyze and assess component and system specifications for optimal alignment with requirements and test capabilities. • Conduct manufacturability analyses and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues prior to production ramp-up. • Monitor post-silicon quality results and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product designs and manufacturing processes. • Implement design and manufacturing learnings to drive next-generation product and process enhancements. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications : Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 0-1 years of hands-on experience in quality and reliability engineering with skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training. • Proficiency in Python or C/C++, demonstrated through documented experience in courses or projects. • Advanced English proficiency for business conversations and technical communication. • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. • Familiarity with statistical concepts and tools as well as CMOS reliability principles. • Circuit design and simulation knowledge. • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. • Experience with silicon manufacturing, advanced packaging and assembly and test process.
