With a commitment to technical excellence, safety, and innovation, Intel is shaping the future of technology — and we want you to be part of it.   As a Tool Equipment Install Technician, you will be a vital individual contributor within Intel's Project Execution Team, supporting the construction and commissioning of cutting-edge wafer fabrication facilities. This is a hands-on, technically demanding role that sits at the intersection of engineering, construction, and semiconductor manufacturing. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex challenges, and take pride in building things that matter — this is the opportunity for you.   This is a fixed-term opportunity lasting approximately 12 months , with the potential for extension subject to the approval of both parties.   Key Responsibilities • Blueprint Reading:  Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure all structures and systems are built to specification and design intent. • Mathematical Proficiency:  Perform accurate measurements and calculations to minimize errors, reduce rework, and maintain project quality standards. • Tool Handling:  Safely and efficiently operate a wide range of tools, machinery, and equipment in compliance with site safety protocols. • Material Knowledge:  Identify and select appropriate materials based on their properties to ensure durability, compliance, and suitability for specific tasks. • Problem Solving:  Identify and resolve unexpected on-site challenges quickly and effectively to keep projects on schedule and within scope. • Project Management:  Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including planning, execution, and progress monitoring across installation phases. • Supplier Management:  Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project requirements and quality standards. • Lean Principles:  Apply lean methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure safe operations from construction through commissioning. • Safety Leadership:  Build and actively promote a Culture of Care across all work environments — from office settings to active construction sites — throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.   As a successful candidate, you must possess • Communication:  You ask the right questions, express ideas proactively, and articulate your thoughts clearly — both verbally and in writing. • Collaboration:  You are a dependable team player who works harmoniously with project managers, engineers, and construction crews alike. • Time Management:  You are punctual, focused, and driven to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. • Organization:  You prioritize tasks effectively, maintain accurate records, and ensure materials and tools are properly managed. • Creative Problem-Solving:  You think outside the box and bring logical, innovative solutions to unique and complex workplace challenges. • Safety Mindset:  You champion and embody a culture of safety and care at every stage of the project — because everyone goes home safe.   Are you ready to leave your mark on the future of semiconductor manufacturing?
