About the team and the role The Digital Services AI Product team is building the foundation for the next generation of help experiences on eBay. We are focused on making support personalized, effortless, fast, and trusted, providing seamless help where and when customers need it. With hundreds of millions of listings and a global community of buyers and sellers, eBay’s scale creates a unique opportunity to transform how people find help, resolve issues, and navigate an increasingly complex global commerce and regulatory environment. We are developing an ecosystem of AI Agents and composable AI platforms that enable adaptive, scalable help experiences across every customer touchpoint. As a Senior Product Manager, you will define and lead the strategy for how we design, build, and scale AI-powered help experiences, including capabilities that help eBay address product regulatory compliance requirements and policies at scale . You will work closely with design, engineering, data science, operations, policy, legal, and compliance teams to turn emerging AI capabilities, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into simple, trusted, and impactful products for customers and the business. What You Will Accomplish • Define the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for AI Agents, composable AI platforms, and capabilities supporting product regulatory compliance and trusted commerce experiences . • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and data to improve how regulatory requirements and product policies are understood, operationalized, and surfaced across customer experiences. • Translate customer, business, policy, and regulatory needs into clear, actionable product direction and requirements. • Partner with Legal, Policy, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Engineering, Design, and Data Science to build scalable solutions that balance customer experience, regulatory obligations, and business objectives. • Use data and experimentation to guide decisions, measure impact, identify emerging risks, and drive continuous improvement. • Bring customer insights, regulatory developments, data, and industry trends together to inform product strategy and improve the product experience. • Develop scalable capabilities that can adapt to evolving product regulations, marketplace policies, and requirements across markets and jurisdictions . • Partner closely with design, engineering, and data science to deliver reliable, explainable, and high-quality AI-powered products at scale. • Build alignment and strong partnerships across teams to stay focused on shared goals and drive execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives. • Keep customer trust, safety, and ease of use at the center of product decisions while enabling eBay to meet its regulatory and policy commitments.
