Senior Analyst - US Direct Tax About the team and the role: eBay’s Global Tax team supports tax compliance, reporting, and governance across our complex global business. As a Senior Tax Analyst based in India, you will support the US Direct Tax team across federal and state income tax compliance, US property tax, estimated tax payments, and quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision processes under ASC 740. You will partner closely with US-based tax team members, the broader Global Tax organization, and cross-functional teams across eBay. The role requires strong US direct tax compliance experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a collaborative, globally connected environment. It also offers the opportunity to deepen your US corporate tax expertise, gain exposure to complex tax matters, and contribute to process improvements, automation, and broader tax initiatives in a fast-paced global e-commerce business. What you will accomplish: · Deliver accurate and timely US federal and state income tax compliance by preparing workpapers, supporting schedules, and complex consolidated returns in Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Income Tax (OIT). · Support complete and timely US property tax compliance, including preparation of renditions, filings, and supporting documentation. · Support federal and state estimated tax payments, recurring and end-of-year ASC 740 provision cycles, including current-year tax estimates and validation of deferred tax balances. · Gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data, including SAP data where applicable, explain key drivers and fluctuations, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve data questions and support filing accuracy. · Resolve tax authority notices through reconciliations of returns, records, payments, and assessed amounts, and prepare routine correspondence where required. · Help manages the US direct tax compliance calendar. Contribute to tax research, special projects, process documentation, controls, and continuous improvement. Partner with the global tax team and external advisors as needed. What you will bring: · 2 - 8 years of direct experience in US corporate income tax compliance, with strong working knowledge of federal and state corporate tax principles, end-to-end compliance processes, and supporting workpapers. · Hands-on proficiency with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Income Tax (OIT) for complex, consolidated federal and state income tax returns; this is a required capability for the role. · Practical experience with US property tax compliance and a working understanding of ASC 740, including how tax compliance positions can affect the tax provision. · A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, together with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. · Strong written and verbal English communication, high ownership, and responsiveness are needed. You must work independently and collaborate well wi
