About the role
Become a part of our caring community The Lead Project Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing large, complex, and highly visible programs that span multiple workstreams, business areas, and stakeholders. This role drives program execution, executive alignment, governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination while mentoring project managers and elevating overall PMO delivery capabilities. The Lead PM partners closely with business and operational leaders to ensure initiatives achieve intended outcomes, deliver organizational value, and support enterprise priorities. Key Responsibilities: • Lead large, complex, and strategically important programs spanning multiple business areas and workstreams. • Lead through influence rather than positional authority, building alignment, driving accountability, and securing commitment from cross-functional teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to achieve program objectives. • Drive program planning, execution, governance, and delivery to achieve business outcomes and organizational objectives. • Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints across multiple initiatives. • Partner with executive and senior leaders to align priorities, facilitate decision-making, and maintain stakeholder engagement. • Develop and present executive-level status updates, dashboards, and recommendations to support informed decision-making. • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of people, processes, technology, and operational readiness activities. • Establish and maintain program governance, escalation pathways, and delivery standards aligned with PMO best practices. • Drive alignment between strategic objectives, program planning, and execution to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value, achieve targeted outcomes, and support organizational priorities. • Mentor and coach project managers to strengthen delivery capabilities, consistency, and PMO maturity. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions that enhance project and program delivery performance. • Support portfolio planning and prioritization efforts to ensure resources are aligned to the organization's highest-value initiatives. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications • 5+ years of project and/or program management experience , including direct leadership of large, complex, cross-functional initiatives with enterprise-wide impact. • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without direct authority , building alignment and driving accountability across business, operational, and technology stakeholders. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or programs , including governance, risk management, dependency tracking, resource planning, and executive communications. • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen , with a proven ability to align program execution to organizational objectives and measurable business outcomes. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills , including experience presenting to senior leaders, facilitating decision-making, and providing executive-level reporting and recommendations.
