Job Description: About the Role We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager – South India to lead the growth of our Industrial Adhesives & Tapes business across the region. This role combines strategic sales leadership, technical solution selling, key account management, channel development and people leadership . You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities, solve complex application challenges and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial B2B experience, commercial acumen, a customer-first mindset and the ability to build and lead a high-performing sales organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Business Leadership • Develop and execute the South India sales strategy in partnership with Division leadership to achieve revenue, growth and profitability objectives. • Translate market insights, customer needs and competitive intelligence into actionable business plans. • Identify new industries, applications, customers and market opportunities for Industrial Adhesives & Tapes. • Manage the regional sales budget and optimize resources to maximize business impact. • Track business performance and take timely corrective actions to deliver results. 2. Customer & Market Development • Build strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and key decision-makers. • Lead complex sales opportunities, commercial negotiations and large customer engagements. • Understand customer processes and application requirements to position the right adhesive and tape solutions. • Drive new customer acquisition, product conversions, specification wins and expansion of existing accounts. • Partner with Technical Service, Application Engineering, Marketing and other functions to develop customer-focused solutions. 3. Channel & Go-to-Market Excellence • Develop and execute an effective route-to-market strategy across the region, leveraging direct and channel sales. • Build, develop and motivate distributors and channel partners to expand market reach and improve business performance. • Establish joint business plans with key channel partners and monitor execution. • Identify opportunities to strengthen market coverage and improve channel productivity. 4. Sales Operations & Commercial Excellence • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure disciplined opportunity management. • Drive accurate sales forecasting and effective use of Salesforce/SFDC across the sales organization. • Monitor revenue, profitability, pricing, product mix and other key business metrics. • Use data and analytics to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps and support business decisions. • Provide regular business reviews, market updates and forecasts to Division leadership. 5. People Leadership & Capability Building • Lead, coach and develop the regional sales team to achieve business objectives. • Establish clear priorities, performance expectations and development goals for team members. • Build sales capability through coaching, mentoring and field-based development. • Support recruitment and onboarding of sales talent and build a strong succession pipeline. • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement. 6.
