As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving major technical transformations and scaling platform capabilities across Capital One. About the Team: Digital Commerce & Innovation (DCI) is a portfolio of technology platforms and solutions which support both enterprise and premium LOBs and delights our customers while revolutionizing the way our customers use and love our products and the industry at the same time. We will find synergies and efficiencies across the portfolio while driving autonomy, velocity, and agility as first principles. In addition to leading a top priority technical program for DCI, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve. What You’ll Do: As a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM), we’re looking for someone that can help us lead programs that deliver on critical business goals and build large scale products & platforms that will help Capital One customers have incredible experiences. In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve. • Contribute to the organization’s TPM / Delivery strategy: establish operating mechanisms, maturity models, and tooling that scale across portfolios • Drive development of and alignment on program roadmap anchored in business objectives, definition of done, technical solutions, and sequencing of dependencies • Lead cross-platform technical investment planning and ensure architectural alignment toward long-term platform convergence and reuse • Serve as an executive-level escalation point for program risks, influencing technology leaders to make data-driven tradeoffs between speed, cost and resiliency • Ensure definition of measurable outcomes of platform success (availability, scalabili
