About the role
Audio Visual Programmer Analyst (Experienced, Senior or Lead) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Intelligence Systems (IS) is looking for a motivated and self-starting Audio Visual Programmer Analyst (Experienced, Senior or Lead) to join our team based in Herndon, VA . Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • This position requires an Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (U.S. Citizenship Required) (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) • Level 3: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Visual Basic • Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems • Hands-on experience with network programming • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Level 4: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Level 5: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • An Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance and current Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) • Experience with Crestron programming and system environments using SIMPL+ or C# • Experience translating customer requirements into software designs • Knowledge of software systems configuration management • Experience with object orientated programming • Experience with HTML/web programming (for user interface design) • Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher • Experience working with local and remote teams • Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management • Experience working as a member of a development team Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
