A Day in the Life The Risk Management team supports Medtronic’s global business operations by ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and managing corporate insurance programs. At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This position is based in Fridley, Minnesota and follows onsite work arrangement. Travel is minimal and expected to be less than 10%. The Senior Insurance Analyst is an integral member of the Risk Management team and helps manage the global property and casualty insurance programs. This role requires working knowledge of insurance and closely collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, including with employees, external parties, and customers. Primary Responsibilities • Support the collection, validation, and preparation of submission data for global casualty, property, and other corporate insurance programs. • Review insurance policies and endorsements to verify accuracy and completeness. • Administer certificate of insurance and automobile identification card requests. • Assist with workers’ compensation reporting requirements for monopolistic and self-insured states. • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance programs and policies. • Review contract insurance provisions to verify alignment with the global insurance programs. • Maintain insurance policies, submissions, records, and related documentation. • Maintain and update the internal SharePoint Insurance site. • Support merger and acquisition due diligence activity and insurance integration efforts. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of insurance, risk management, finance, legal, compliance, or related business experience OR advanced degree with 2+ years of related experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting property, casualty, workers’ compensation, or other corporate insurance programs. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and insurance program support. • Experience supporting merger and acquisition due diligence and integration activities. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
