A Day in the Life This role supports Medtronic’s Coronary and Peripheral Vascular portfolio across the southwest territory of Puerto Rico. The portfolio includes coronary stents, balloons, guidewires, catheters, and peripheral vascular products used in the treatment of coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease. The Sales Representative partners closely with healthcare professionals, clinical specialists, and internal commercial teams to expand market adoption, support customer education, and deliver value to patients and institutions. The position is based in Puerto Rico, with candidates expected to reside in the southwest region, ideally between Ponce and Mayagüez. This is a FlexWork role that combines remote work with frequent customer-facing activities at healthcare institutions. Occasional travel is required, primarily for product training and business-related activities. A valid driver's license is required.                     The Sales Representative II is responsible for driving sales performance, growing market share, and developing long-term customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role works closely with interventional cardiologists, vascular specialists, clinical personnel, and healthcare institutions to promote Medtronic's Coronary and Peripheral Vascular portfolio, identify customer needs, and support the safe and effective use of products. Primary Responsibilities • Achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives within the designated territory • Develop and maintain relationships with cardiologists, vascular specialists, healthcare professionals, and key customer stakeholders • Identify new business opportunities and execute territory growth strategies to expand market share • Provide product and clinical education to healthcare professionals and institutional customers • Support customer procedures and collaborate with clinical specialists to ensure appropriate product utilization • Conduct market analysis to monitor customer needs, competitive activity, and business trends • Communicate customer feedback, market insights, and business opportunities to Marketing, Research and Development, and other internal partners • Maintain accurate sales planning, account management, and administrative activities required to support territory performance Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and experience in sales within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry • Experience developing territory plans, customer engagement strategies, educational activities, and sales-related administrative responsibilities • English proficiency at B2 level or higher • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and participate in required training activities • Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling medical devices • Experience working with interventional cardiologists, vascular specialists, or other physician customers • Experience supporting Coronary or Peripheral Vascular product portfolios For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
