At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. We’re working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.                     Available Shifts include: 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-6:30am Su-Thurs Weekend Shift: 6:30am-6:30pm or  6:30pm-6:30am Sundays and Saturdays Mandatory overtime is required on Saturdays. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. You will be working in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires you to wear personal protective equipment including eyewear, hair net and protective gowning. • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. • Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions. • Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s). • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed. • May conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications. • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. • Operate microscopes as needed. • Alternate between standing and sitting throughout shift Required Knowledge and Experience: • No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. • Ability to read and write in English in order to understand work instructions, safety protocols, and communicate effectively within the team. Nice to Have: • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing • Previous experience with assembly work • Experience working in medical device manufacturing • Background in automotive manufacturing or related industries • Strong mathematical skills for measurement and quality checks • Excellent hand dexterity for detailed assembly tasks • Willingness and flexibility to support different production areas as needed In addition to contributing to the Medtronic mission, you'll also be investing in your career!
