Job Description This position is part of the U.S. Bancorp Asset Management Sales Enablement team and plays a critical part in supporting business development officers (BDOs) and relationship managers (RMs) in the acquisition and retention of institutional investment management business. The position is primarily responsible for developing high-quality, customized responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and other client-facing materials under tight deadlines. Additional responsibilities include creating presentations, due diligence materials, and other ad hoc documents for prospective and existing clients. The successful candidate is a strong writer, project manager, and collaborator who can effectively partner with BDOs, RMs, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams across U.S. Bank. This individual must be able to manage multiple projects independently, adhere to detailed client specifications, and deliver high-quality work within turnaround times ranging from one day to a few weeks. The role also contributes to broader sales enablement and strategic business development initiatives across the firm. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience • Two to three years of business writing experience in sales support, proposal generation, marketing, communications, publishing or print media Preferred Skills/Experience • Financial services experience, preferably within asset management, investment management, or institutional investing. • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of complex products, investment strategies, and technical concepts and communicate them clearly and accurately. • Strong interviewing and communication skills, with the ability to engage subject matter experts and gather information needed to address client requirements. • Experience developing customized proposals, presentations, and other sales support materials. • Proficiency with proposal management platforms and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a strong eye for detail, formatting, and presentation quality. • Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams while maintaining ownership and accountability for deliverables. The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
