Essential Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture. • Own the full-stack lifecycle, delivering production-ready, testable, and maintainable code across backend services, APIs, and integrations, with strong emphasis on code quality, scalability, and resilience. • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring compliance with API design standards, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility. • Apply object-oriented design principles, domain-driven design, and architectural best practices to produce optimal system designs that meet performance, reliability, availability, and scalability requirements. • Develop and manage microservices deployed on Kubernetes-based platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher), including service discovery, configuration management, and inter-service communication. • Build and maintain data persistence layers using relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and NoSQL databases - Cassandra, including schema design, query optimization, and data consistency strategies. • Perform root cause analysis on application failures, performance bottlenecks, and security issues; propose architectural and code-level improvements to enhance system stability and operational efficiency. • Implement security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication/authorization mechanisms, secure API gateways (e.g., Apigee), and adherence to enterprise and regulatory compliance standards. • Embed Software Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices into development workflows, including observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery strategies. • Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback on design, performance, security, and maintainability while enforcing engineering standards and development procedures. • Leverage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / CloudBees, automated testing, and deployment strategies to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable releases. • Develop and deploy applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing cloud-native services and infrastructure-as-code principles. • Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with product owners, scrum masters, engineers, QA, and third-party vendors to deliver incremental value Basic Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Science & Engineering and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience. Required Skills/Experience: Must also have 60 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Designing, developing, testing, deploying, operating, and maintaining enterprise-grade, applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture. 2) Owning the full-stack lifecycle, delivering production-ready, testable, and maintainable code across backend services, APIs, and integrations, with strong emphasis on code quality, sca
