About the Role Verkada prides itself on maintaining a high hiring bar while bringing in diverse and unconventional backgrounds of driven individuals obsessed with their craft. You’ll partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering to define, build, and scale our GTM systems, datasets, dashboards, and analytics workflows that drive sales across the funnel. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role at the intersection of business strategy, sales processes and tooling - ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands how sales organizations operate, and wants to build durable systems foundations at a high-growth company. This role will report into our Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week. Occasional travel will take you to our other offices and company events. What You'll Do • Partner with leaders across a variety of functions — Sales, Marketing, Channel, and GTM Operations — to identify and address key business challenges, with a primary focus on GTM systems, data pipelines, and sales efficiency. • Conduct usability studies with stakeholders e.g. Sales reps using Salesforce and identity key pain points and system solutions • Help fine-tune the product roadmap for core GTM tools including Salesforce, other internal platforms, ensuring they scale with Verkada's rapid growth. • Implement best-practice solutions — including process changes, system configurations, and custom enhancements — to drive sales velocity, pipeline visibility, and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with GTM engineers and business stakeholders to design, build, and deliver engineering solutions aligned to GTM deliverables and OKRs. • Facilitate and lead cross-functional requirements sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business needs; identify unstated or conflicting requirements; and drive meaningful change even when it means challenging the status quo. • Prepare and maintain documentation for current processes, pain points, and system assumptions — and continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows across GTM tools and platforms. • Draw on your experience to recommend improvements to development practices, system standards, and integration patterns that improve team velocity and long-term scalability. • Build lightweight technical solutions and automations leveraging Apex, Python and/or JavaScript to bridge gaps between systems.
