Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Principal Systems Engineer (level 3)/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join our team. This opening is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program . Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support Equipment • Work with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in development of Support Equipment for mission operational system on the Sentinel program to apply concepts and practices to Support Equipment. • Analysis and perform Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Support Equipment Architecture development. • Perform analyses at all levels of product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements as applicable to support equipment and total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into support equipment specifications using DOORS. • Develops Architectural framework products using CAMEO MBSE product toolsets. • Ensure support equipment requirements, architecture, and designs integrate with technical needs of the Sentinel program. This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (level 3) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (level 4). Basic Qualifications: Principal Systems Engineer: • Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 0 years of experience with PhD. • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at
