Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Systems Engineer for the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. As an integral part of the Command Systems SEIT MS&A Execution team on the Sentinel program, you will focus on: • Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for specific aspects of the system such as radio frequency communications, launch execution chain, status timing, and cryptography • Support analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability • Support MBSE strategy and implementation • Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance • Contribute content for presentations and present to internal and external stakeholders • Perform analysis to support derivation of lower level requirements • Create analysis documents, verification and validation (V&V) plans, and V&V reports Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04). Principal Systems Engineer : • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD Sr. Principal Systems Engineer : • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD Required for both levels: • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need • 3 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis experience • 1 year experience with radio frequency analysis • Experience utilizing MS&A tools to inform design solutions, derive or verify requirements • Familiarity with requirements management and the verification a
