Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Facilities Engineer or Facilities Engineer . This position will be located at our Space sector in Commerce, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Facilities and Maintenance team. Roles and Responsibilities • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues, improve equipment reliability, and provide technical guidance. • Perform Equipment Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and implement robust corrective and preventive actions to enhance system reliability. • Conduct project planning, budgeting, contract management, and oversight of project execution • Help to ensure that the correct preventative maintenance procedures are in place and recommend all necessary spare parts to keep the plant operational on a 24/7 basis. • Prepare presentations and reports detailing the Operational Equipment Effectiveness on all machines. • Aid in developing standard specifications for all future equipment purchases. • Compliance: partner with EHS on all facilities and projects to adhere to local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or general contractor vendors as needed.
